Where it comes from
The raised fists are ٩ and ۶, digits from Arabic-script number sets that look like curled arms. The ๑ (Thai digit one) marks round, flushed cheeks, and `^´ is a pinched, angry frown.
When to use it
Great for playful complaints to friends or partners, and for fake-mad replies to teasing. It is too cute to show real anger, so don't use it when you actually need to be taken seriously.
Examples
- You said you'd call me back ٩(๑`^´๑)۶
- Who took the last cookie ٩(๑`^´๑)۶
