1. The service
Kawasuta offers kaomoji and ASCII art to copy, text mini games, leaderboards, a weekly league and friend features. It is free to use and shows ads. We may add, change or remove features.
2. Using the kaomoji and ASCII art
You may copy the kaomoji and ASCII art and use them freely in your own messages, posts and profiles, for personal or commercial purposes.
You may not copy the collection in bulk to build a competing app, site or database, or collect it automatically in a way that burdens the service.
3. Remove Ads (paid)
Remove Ads is a one-time purchase made through the App Store or Google Play. The price is the amount shown on the purchase screen. It removes ads and adds the benefits shown in the app at the time of purchase.
The purchase belongs to your App Store or Google Play account. After reinstalling or changing phones, use “Restore Purchase” in the app.
Because this is digital content, we do not offer refunds ourselves. You can request a refund from Apple or Google under their refund policies.
4. Hearts
Hearts are free in-game items used to continue a game. They have no monetary value, are not sold, and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred except through the gift feature in the app.
Hearts are stored on your device and are lost if you delete the app. We may change how hearts are earned and used.
5. Nicknames, messages and leaderboards
Your nickname, scores and messages on leaderboards are public. You are responsible for what you post. Do not post:
- Abusive, discriminatory, sexual or violent content
- Personal information about yourself or anyone else
- Advertising, spam or links
- Names that impersonate another person or the Kawasuta team
Anyone can report a nickname or message, and can block another player so that their nickname and messages no longer appear on their own device. We may hide or delete entries, and reset or remove records obtained by cheating or by tampering with the app, without notice.
Leaderboards and leagues include computer players run by the Kawasuta team alongside other users.
6. Things you must not do
- Break the law or infringe someone else’s rights
- Reverse engineer, modify or redistribute the app
- Obtain scores, hearts or paid features by unauthorized means
- Interfere with the service or place an excessive load on its servers
- Harass other users
If you break these terms, we may suspend your use of online features.
7. Intellectual property
The app, the website, their design, text and programs belong to us or to their rightful owners. Section 2 describes what you may do with the kaomoji and ASCII art; no other rights are transferred.
8. Ads and third-party services
The service shows ads and uses third-party services. Products and sites advertised belong to the advertisers; dealings with them are between you and them. Our Privacy Policy explains what data is handled.
9. Disclaimer
The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee that it is accurate, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose, or that a kaomoji looks the same on every device.
We are not responsible for loss of records, hearts or other data caused by device failure, changing phones or deleting the app.
Except in cases of our intent or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service.
10. Changes and ending the service
We may change or end the service. If we end it, we will give notice in the app or on this website a reasonable time in advance.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. The new version takes effect when it is posted on this page. If you keep using the service after that, you agree to the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Fukuoka District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over disputes about the service.
